I myself am sort of glad this is happening as I now can only focus my attention on one, more complex, card game. This is sending the LOR community into a bit of a doom spiral as they are most likely just finishing up their plans for 2022 then we may see a maintenance mode blog or something. Tldr of the blog post is riot reallocating members of what they themselves deemed to be their most popularpve game mode to other riot projects. There's rumors around it being headed towards a dead end in a year or two based on a recent blog post released by riot: Well it seems the whole f2p friendly thing of runeterra seems to have bitten the game in the butt. I've enjoyed the f2p friendly economy of runeterra everyone here has heard of or seen arena been compared to.
I always get disheartened when my brief noobie experience comes to an end when I'm faced with having to buy boosters or spam the free decks they give you. I've hovered around mtg for a bit, an expansion or two at least.
